    Chinese New Year 2012 – the Year of the Dragon

    Chinese New Year is the most important traditional festival and a public holiday in China. It is also known as the Spring Festival. The Chinese New Year 2012 starts on 23 January .     While the luxury markets in Europe, North America, and Japan are shrinking in the global economic downturn, China’s consumption of luxury goods is on the rise. Chinese spent US$7.2 billion on Luxury Goods in foreign countries during Chinese New Year 2012, a record-high, and 15% above original estimates, according to the WLA report, just released on 01 Feb.
